According to latest statistics, the population of centenarians in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of men aged 100 or over has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the same years, the number of women aged 100 or over nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to receive stories from those aged 100 or over, their relatives or close ones, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
